Hall Of Fame

One day I got this call from (I think she said her name was Judy.) the Hall of Fame and as the words became the audible she said, “Payton you are going to be in the NFL Hall of Fame.” Just as soon as I heard those words, “BAM!”I passed out, and yes I had to go to the hospital.
So, the next day why I sat there in that bed knowing I am going to be in the NFL Hall of Fame. It kind of caught me a couple times because I’m only 31 years old. So then I got an idea. Once I get out of the hospital, I will redial the number and ask them what record I did I break.
So I did and they said I broke Mike Singletary’s tackling record. Then just like last time, BAM!!!! Back to the hospital.
(You know you would pass out if you broke Mike Singletarys taetckling record; it’s almost impossible to break.)
That night I had a dream that I was shaking hands with Mike Singletary then he opened his mouth to say something. “BEEP” then I said “what?” “BEEP” I woke up to find out it was just a dream and the beeping sound was my alarm clock.
I was pretty good at football, I guess. But I did not get here on my own. One man can’t make a difference in a game. I had lots of help from trainers to coaches and friends and family.

Then came the day that I had to make that super long speech and I got to see what I looked like carved out. (Every person that makes it to the Hall of Fame gets their face carved out of bronze.)
But now it’s a new year more things to do more games to win, but now I know I am in the Hall of Fame.
